Insperational Wednesday.

I love photography. I take so many pictures. So, so many. So every wednesday I'm taking a photo or finding a photo that inspires me for the day. Unfortunately from my iPhone I can't put pictures on here. Starting September I will be taking part in inspirational Wednesdays!

What my Monday Dare *should* be.

My name is _______ & I have a serious problem. I actually hate someone. Now anyone would tell you I don't like many people. I'm picky. People who don't call back, not cool- people who lie, not going to happen- people who date stupid people, no way! Okay, here's my problem; my best friend in the whole wide world is dating a stupid. When I say stupid I don't mean can't figure out where babies come from I mean can't figure out what he wants from McDonalds stupid. And of course with every stupid comes the reason why, he's a dead beat. I can deal with the homeless, I may even help, but do I think my friend should date one? Absolutely not. My friend made a very dumb decision herself, she got pregnant with that stupid & now all I hear about is how he's not providing for his daughter. I'm pretty sure stupid is contagious these days because my friend got it. I think. I mean, bad. She went to file child support (she lives with her mother) & instead of claiming every thing it takes to take care of her baby, she only claimed the things she pays for. Well that's easy, she's unemployed. Her mom is paying for everything but she refuses to claim it because she doesn't want to "Fu*k him over when he is trying to get his life together". Say what? He's trying to get his life together? Oh joy! Let's cut the demon bastard some slack. I turned my head & shut my mouth when she said he joined the army. I even smiled politely when she said he would be front line. I just about sh*t my pants when she said he got a job at McDonalds. Problem with the McDonalds job is I'm pretty sure that means he's living with her & her mom & two it means he is no longer in the army. This is not a good day for their child.

It's time I start my own "Monday dare"'s.

Now if I knew how to use this blog better on my iPhone I would give Elizabeth proper credit. But for now this will have to do. Elizabeth from Flourish in Progress http://www.flourishinprogress.com has a project. 1) no shopping for a year. She's insane, I know. 2) she does Monday dares. Every monday she does something, or tries to do something & blogs about this experience. I love this idea. So, I'm being a thief & stealing it.

I need to make a list of things for these Mondays to come but it will happen. It may be crazy, I may get hurt, but dammit, I will try! Conveniently yesterday was Monday, coincidence? I think not. I have a super smart brain, afterall.

I thought about choosing Tuesday's as dare days but I like something to look forward to on Mondays! Makes for a better week.

Tomorrow is my first day back to work in almost a year, that's huge & I'm pumped. Okay, I'm a little nervous... Okay, a LOT nervous but I'm excited too.

The Magnets on the Fridge Don't Spell the Alphabet Mommy.

My life is constantly changing. New job, new life, new finds, new deals. It's a lot to take in some times. I'm a little worried about moving, it's definitely not my favorite pass time. Have any of you shoved your entire life into a truck or trailer? It can be a little demeaning. It makes me realize how much I don't have & how much I do. Also it helps keep me level headed. The things I really care about in life will never end up in the truck or trailer, they end up riding in the car with me.
My husband & I just told the people we're living with we're moving... & where. Mostly they seemed happy to see us trying to venture out. I think my mom was a little disappointed that we would no longer be there but I think she also understands that they are losing the house we're all living in & we had to find security, fast. My aunt on the other hand was not soo happy. She was trying to move in there also. Of course this was not brought to our attention until we were already committed to living there. She seemed seems upset & I feel bad. She thinks she will have no where to go now. But they were never going to let her move in there any way. Of course I still feel like the bad guy. But WHY?

I am a loser.

Lately I have been feeling a little bit down. I mean, it's hard some times to keep job hunting for a year & never succeeding. But yesterday I finally did! Not only did I get offered a job, I got offered a salary, benefits, vacation & sick days. & many other things. Sounds awesome right? Considering my salary is quite good (for me anyway) I've spent the remainder of my night wondering why I got this job. Why did they want me? Granted I have some experience & a smashing okay personality, I feel like there has to be someone better out there. Even just someone who applied. But I got the call back.

This all leads me to my goal for the day, I'm going to cut myself some slack, I work hard, & I deserve a good job. It doesn't matter if someone better applied they picked me. I will spend today giving myself credit. I deserve a pat on the back once in a while.

On the road again.

This weekend my husband & I got to enjoy the pleasure of being home alone. Everyone we live with was gone. They didn't take either of their cats but it was better than nothing. I don't think either of us knew how much we would like living alone. We cleaned. & when I say cleaned I mean we emptied the bag on that vacuum cleaner atleast 4 times PER LEVEL. & twice on each set of stairs. It really is a disaster here most of the time. But after we cleaned up, threw out old mail, & found some mail we never received we got to relax. We enjoyed sleeping through the night without anyone talking or any dogs barking in front of our bedroom door, we enjoyed falling asleep & waking up with our food STILL THERE, we even enjoyed doing laundry. It's much easier when you have the machines all to yourself. I think we even created more laundry just because we liked having it to ourselves so much. We even talked about moving. Granted, this would double our rent(sadly it's still cheaper than anywhere else) but we would be getting a lot more. We're talking cable, Internet, WIFI, our own fridge, full sized freezer, & cupboard space y'all. all things we are lacking here. Not that it is the perfect place to be, but it can't be as bad as here, right? Time will tell because we're moving. we just couldn't take living in this filth any longer. It's time to live in someone elses basement for cheap rent & a place to put those lean cuisines. We're looking at it like it's a studio apartment without our own kitchen or bathroom. What could be more ideal?! Our only real concern is the people we will be living with have a tenancy to ask you to do hard work for them for free. We have made an agreement that we will tell them up front this will not happen. Hopefully everything works out. Wish me luck! If it doesn't work out, anyone in for a throw down?

Dirty bitches give kisses.

Today I was sitting here thinking as I eat my progresso light soup & watch my husband shit talk the mii's playing baseball that I really should work on being more compassionate. Not like just giving money to homeless people or letting people budge me in line but I need to slow down & think. What if that were me? Or worse yet someone I care about. What would I want people to do then? So every Saturday is my compassion day. I will do something a little nicer to or for someone. Maybe I will even make an impression on someone.

I remember being a kid & I was trying to tell my mom I was going to play outside. She was napping on the couch & told me not to throw eggs at te cars, it would take the paint off. & you know what? She was right. Just in case you would like a thrown egg print on your car where the paint is gone. Cool huh? I thought so. Apparently enough so to carry this saying on for years.

Makes you think... What do we hang on to? & why?

Rollin Rollin Rollin

Yeehaw! Now for those of you who don't know me (ha. ha.) I have been living with some family members, aka nasty no cleaning food eating bitches. Moving on, I received some sweet & sour news recently. They are MOVING! Now, I'm not talking down the street, I'm talking 10 full hours away! Now, although I rejoice in this distance, it puts a lot of stress on my husband & I to make the money we need to get a place which is easier said than done. There are a few options, but really nothing ideal. My OTHER dilemma with this up coming move is my mom. Now, typically I call her "the bitch who stole 6,000 dollars from me on Christmas eve & only paid me back 4,000 3 years later", today I'm calling her mom. Let's be honest, from her name alone it's clear she is NOT the person you want making your life choices, in fact she shouldn't be allowed to make her own. My problem is we live in a pretty nice area of the burbs with a lot of look-the-other-way people. My mother is gay, by the way. She has convinced herself she is moving to a small town, in the south. For those of you who have not lived in the south or a small town, biggetism is alive & well. She, however, having hardly left our perfect little burb has no idea what this is like. I do understand her predicament however, as her girlfriend of 6 years told her she's moving back home whether my mom goes or not. Girlfriend is on my shit list. Not only is she either making my mom move or breaking up with her, she's doing this to take a job with a pay CUT of 5 dollars an hour. Seems pretty stupid right? Apparently brunettes don't know shit either ;) no matter how much I try to convince my mom that this is probably the worst move she will ever make in her life she continues to tell me "there's nothing here for me to stay for" ouch mom. Maybe we'll go back to that bitch name again... & all the while you're wondering why I care? Well, she IS my mom for one, but two, this all means I am getting kicked out. Moving AGAIN! possibly soon after
This move I'll be moving again also. So, as you can see, this is my little issue in life lately. Oh yeah, & right about now I'm hating mine.

The daily frustrations of an anonymous life...

So, possibly more than any of you need to know but my husband & I are currently living with...roommates we will call them. & like most roommates they eat all our food, buy none of their own (real food anyways) & they always leave their clothes in the wash & forget to move them so no one else can do laundry. It's very frustrating when you have laundry to do. I guess it's just really frustrating to put so much extra money into food, laundry, etc & have other people use it instead of yourself. Its hard enough being broke. Let alone trying to pay for other people. Frustrating life!

Here in bed where the world is dicovered..

As I lay here in bed with my beautiful husband sawing logs beside me, my cat humming a purr underneath the bed & my dogs feet running for a dream I can't help but worry. I worry about my husband all the time (as a good wife should!) & I try my hardest to keep negative thoughts out of my head but it's been hard lately. My husband was recently hurt at work (a chemical burn to be exact) & while at the hospital we asked about a mole. The doctor apparently doesn't know how to read moles (or so she said) but she did say we should have it looked at by a dermatologist. Now, THIS is the stuff that makes me nervous. I've been surrounded by cancer of all kinds since I was a kid, but instead of getting used to it I've just grown more afraid. I've been begging & pleading with my husband to get a skin cancer screening, but alas, he is right, we do not have the money right now. Now, this never stops my determination but this is a time sensitive matter in my mind & I promised myself TWO weeks maximum to get him to a doctor. So I suppose until then I sit & worry. Oh the joys of being a committed loving wife.

Over & out

First post.

I guess I created this as a place to tell all without anyone knowing who stands behind the words. I like things better this way, much less judgement. Hopefully some of you choose to follow me, if not I bid you good luck on your blogging journey.
